[For the 3rd year in a row, NSYSU has remained one of top 5 universities in Taiwan with the most subjects entered in the newest QS World University Rankings by Subject!]

According to the newest 2021 QS World University Rankings by Subject, NSYSU has remained one of top 5 universities in Taiwan for the third year in a row with the most subjects entering the rankings, together with National Taiwan University, National Cheng Kung University, National Tsing Hua University, and National Chiao Tung University.

NSYSU has continued its excellent performance with a total of 17 subjects entering the rankings this year, the University’s record so far. With 5 more new subjects entering the rankings from 2018 and the total number of subjects growing each year, NSYSU demonstrated the best improvement among universities in Taiwan in the past 4 years.

NSYSU ranks first in Taiwan for Petroleum Engineering, second for English Language and Literature and Economics and Econometrics, third for Agriculture & Forestry, and fourth for Mathematics, Education and Training, and Modern Languages. NSYSU is also the only university in Taiwan entering the ranking for Petroleum Engineering.
